Can't go wrong with this spreader
I was shopping for spreaders for a while now. There are just so many different brands and reviews. People have different preferences and sometimes one type of spreader won’t be good for a certain applications etc etc. And i remember the first time I saw a LESCO spreader at one the retail stores, I couldn’t believe someone could sell a SPREADER for $750! But the deeper I got into the spreader universe, and the more reviews that I read, I finally realized WHY LESCO was a couple hundred dollars more. It’s very hard to find bad reviews on this thing. If you go to any lawn forum, or FB group, the guys who know what they are doing always talk about their LESCO’s. I finally pulled the trigger and got the 80lb spreader because I wanted the stainless steel frame. A year ago I bought a Scott’s drop spreader to use and it wasn’t awful, but it needed to be recalibrated nearly every use and finally broke after a year. I know that I’ll be able to use this LESCO for decades. If you take care of them, they last forever. And if for some reason a part doesn’t last forever, you can buy individual pieces off the LESCO website. These things are built to be passed down to your kids. PS- don’t talk smack about my dirty garage. . I’m cleaning it out.
I was looking for a better built spreader than the less expensive Scott's Elite I had purchased last year. The LESCO is exactly what I was looking for. Strong, sturdy and seems to be accurate. I am a mechanical contractor, so assembling the spreader was not a big challenge. However, the instructions that came with the spreader could be improved on a good bit. They are very vague and poorly illustrated. Even the YouTube videos are poor. I would highly recommend this spreader to any home owner who is serious about maintaining his lawn.
Upgraded from a 50# deere to the 80# Lesco- it rolls smooth, love the edge deflector to dominate your neighbors lawn or keep from throwing product on the driveway. Check out the Spreader-Mate to add liquid products to this spreader. It’s sold by a different company.
I ordered a lesco spreader and 4 days later it showed up. Product is exactly as it was described. I will definitely shop at Seedworld again and I highly recommend them!
I haven't used it yet but I can easily see and feel the difference compared to the Scotts. It came securely packaged. Assembly was very easy and quick. All the adjustments were simple to do. If you don't use Lesco products you can find a conversion chart on the Lesco site.
Ordered the spreader online over the weekend and received by Friday. Great price and fast shipping. The best rotary spreader out there. Highly recommend.

Really needed to upgrade my older Lesco 80 lb Spreader and expected to pay $600 to $700 based on research I had done last few month’s decided to just google and see what came up. I was very surprised to find SeedWorld offered this spreader for $499. Shipping was very reasonable as well. Very satisfied with my new spreader and I’ve definitely bookmarked SeedWorld for future purchases for my lawn service business.
