Acclaim Extra is a post-emergent herbicide most known for its reliability to control crabgrass and goosegrass without harming desirable turf.It works in a single treatment and weeds die as fast as one week. It is effective in a wide range of growth stages with flexible timing and use. Acclaim is a water-based formulation and simplifies handling. Acclaim Extra can also be used to temporarily suppress the growth of Johnsongrass rhizomes and common bermudagrass.

I haven’t used it yet but my gardener used it and said it is mainly for crabgrass. It worked great and killed the nasty crabgrass. now to reseed after giving it time.
