Alfagraze Roundup Ready Alfalfa Seed

The original dual performance variety, excellent for baling as well as grazing, now with tolerance to Roundup herbicide. Alfagraze RR was specifically bred to perform under constant pressure from grazing animals, and has a full lineup of disease resistance for long stand life.

Extra leafy plants have large, deep crowns for excellent grazing and fast recovery
High resistance to Phytophthora root rot, anthracnose, bacterial wilt, Fusarium wilt and Aphanomyces root rot

Seeding: Alfagraze RR has a Fall Dormancy rating of 3, Winterhardiness of 2.5, and is good for 3-4 cuts per season.

Seeding Rate: 15-20 pounds per acre nationwide but generally 20-30% higher in the South and far West.
Depth: 1/4"-1/2"
Soil: Fertile, well-drained soils with a pH above 6.2

Alfagraze 600 RR Iis amazing!

I purchased this seed 2 years ago and haven’t looked back. My field grew fast, choking out unwanted weeds. Sent down thick and long roots. First year I got 3 cuttings due to time I planted. Last season I cleared 5!!! Also, I graze my sheep and goats a few days in between cutting. Far superior alfalfa then what’s available in area. My grow zone is 7a by the way, wintered awesome. This year I believe I will be cutting before my fellow hay growers. Just bought another order of this seed for another field this year. Thanks!
