(Backorder Till Spring 2025) Dwarf Mulberry Plant Morus Nigra - 1 Gallon

Odessa Plant Nursery

Mulberry Plant

Variety: Morus Nigra

Dwarf Everbearing (Zones 5-11)

Mulberries are easy to grow, abundant, and fast-growing, which makes them perfect for containers. If grown in pots, they are continuous producers cycling in and out of flowers and fruit when given warm temperatures and adequate light. In the ground, they turn into a large bush. Each berry resembles a large blackberry, but with a bluer tone and a sweet, luscious flavor with just a little bit of tanginess.

Mulberries are extremely forgiving plants. These plants favor full sun exposure, requiring 6-8 hours of sun each day to thrive. Use high-quality potting soil amended with some nutrient-rich compost. Newly planted everbearing mulberry trees need to be watered regularly to establish a strong root system.

Once established, mulberry trees are relatively drought-tolerant.

    Very impressed

The mulberry trees were much larger than I thought they would be. One already had catkins which means mulberries will soon be on the tree

    Mulberry trees

The trees arrived in great condition and are luxuriant with foliage. Entire gallon pot was root bound so I’m excited in their growth. Transplanted and doing great, no signs of stress.
