Not what I thought
Will probably use because it is won’t grow in south Texas according to a local landscape nursery. :(

Scientific Name : Axonopus
Carpetgrass (Axonopus affinis) is a creeping, stoloniferous, perennial warm season grass. It is characterized by flat, two-edged runners or stolons; by wide leaves with blunt, rounded tips and by long, slender seed stalks that terminate with two branches, very similar to crabgrass. Stolons are flat, widely branched and root at each node.
From the sandy soils of East Texas to Florida and north to Virginia, Alabama and Arkansas, carpetgrass is found in fields, woods, along roadsides, pastures and lawns.
Also known as flatgrass, Louisianagrass and as "petit gazon" by the Creoles of Louisiana, carpetgrass is native to the Gulf Coast states and other tropical climates. It is a creeping, perennial grass that can be recognized by the blunt rounded tips of its leaves, flat stolons and a tall seed stalk with two branches at the apex. It forms a dense mat and will crowd out most other species.

Planted an entire yard in sections by raking the soil to form a good seed bed. I then broadcasted 2lbs of seed per 1000 sq feet, then lightly fertilized the bed before incorporating the seed into the soil. The areas were kept moist for two week, but I would estimate less than 50% of the seed germinated. For weeks 3 and 4, I continued to keep the soil moist. Ultimately, I am disappointed in this product. I grew up farming, so I am not a novice to planting or establishing lawns.
I got the seeds in 2days ago. Already my email inbox has been flooded with requests for me to review the seeds. So, here goes. Yes, they came in.....seeds...in a bag. When I put them in a spreader and turned the handle...the seeds fell out and landed on the ground...as gravity is known to do. That was yesterday. I would love to have had time to give you a review on how they grew...but apparently...that could not be waited for. So here's your review.
Easy orders and received on time
This is my first time ordering from Seed World but so far so good. They arrived fast and I really liked that they arrived in paper bag, not a plastic bag. One of the other vendors I used in the past ships in plastic bags and when you open them they leave little plastic pieces all throughout your seed...not a good way to start a yard. I mixed the Carpetgrass seeds with Bermuda, Zoysia, and Brown Millet (Carpetgrass for the deep shaded areas, Zoysia for the less shaded areas, Bermuda for the full sun locations, and Brown Millet for the cover crop), looking forward to seeing it all grow up this summer.
Fast shipping
I haven’t planted it yet. I was going to mix it with miloranite and your shipping was so fast I didn’t get the milorganite yet… stay tuned!
👍 ordered more to finish the yard.
Your description says Axonopus affinis, but the picture, along with what popped up in my yard appears to look more like Axonopus compressus, which while in the same ballpark, are completely different varieties.
