Azalea plants combine colorful blooms and evergreen leaves to make a beautiful statement plant for your home. Their tight buds give you a peek at the colors to come, and as they grow, the buds peel open to reveal beautiful 1″-2″ ruffled flowers.

Place azaleas in a location which receives indirect sunlight. Keep the soil evenly moist at all times, but never waterlogged. Provide well-drained, humus-rich soil that is slightly acidic (pH 4.5–6). Prune off spent flowers to encourage more blooms and keep your plant looking its best. Hardiness zones range from 6-9.

  • Water 2-3 times a week; do not keep wet
  • 20°F+
  • Apply slow-release fertilizer every 3-4 months
