There should be more assistance other than putting pans on the ground to measure how much product Is Being dispersed in a given area. It’s not rocket science. This should’ve already been done in the factory and preproduction to figure out how much these devices spread.
As a professional lawn technician for 25 years I always used an 80 lbs Lescp spreader. Now that I'm retired and only taking care of my own lawn I bought a popular brand homeowners spreader that turned out to be junk, streaks throughout my lawn. So I bit the bullet and purchased the Lesco 50 lbs model at half the price as the 80 pounder but still has the same quality.

(Cons for Lesco Corporate): These are the worst assembly instructions I have ever encountered. I had to keep referring to the front of the manual to determine what you were describing. Illustrations would go a long way toward improving the assembly instructions. I don't know if the U.S. or China wrote these instructions (spreader made in China), but if in the U.S., fix this!

This fertilizer spreader is a great product, your shipping is fast and well packaged.
Supper fast shipping. Spreader very well build and sturdy. Instructions are very unclear you just have to use your common sense while putting it together. One thing I wish it would have is guide to spreading for reference whether printed on spreader or inside printed manual.
I ordered through Seed world because they had the best price. Shipping was quick and the package came in great condition. The cardboard is not super thick nor is there any foam inside to protect the spreader, but it arrived without any damages. The hardware is bagged and taped to the inside of the box so there wasn't any risk of losing the hardware. The exact amount of hardware was packed and no spares were included. The instructions are fair and aren't really needed if you have any mechanical aptitude. The spreader is great. One of those buy once, cry once purchases. I've pretty much adopted that purchase philosophy to ensure that I get a quality product. This is....buy with confidence.
The product arrived in a box that looked like it had been through a tornado. Several areas were repaired with tape. However the product was not damaged. The assembly instructions were ok. I have used the spreader three times so far. Easy to push and use! Glad I didn’t buy a box store spreader.
Compared to the box store brand spreaders, the Lesco spreader is in a different league. Solid materials and construction. SeedWorld had one of the better prices out there and it arrived within a couple of days. I would definitely recommend.
