This butterfly bush from First Editions is deer resistant, drought-tolerant, and grows into an upright, slightly rounded tidy shape. Funky Fuchsia boasts dark green foliage and rich reddish-pink flowers that are fragrant and held upright. This buddleia blooms into fall if deadheaded and is easily rejuvenated by pruning back to 12″ tall. Funky Fuchsia is crown hardy in zone 5 and will flush from the base in spring.


Care Information
Buddleias need full sun and fertile, well-drained soil. Water freely when in growth and sparingly otherwise. In the summer, water if rainfall is less than 1" per week. Since they bloom on new wood, even if there is no die-back, cut them back to the ground every spring. Hardiness zones range from 5-9.
