Jecta Diffusable Boracide

Jecta is a borate-based termiticide, insecticide and fungicide. 

Jecta offers the same advantages and features that Bora-Care delivers. Like Bora-Care, Jecta’s unique patented blend of glycols in combination with its borate active ingredient controls and prevents termites, wood decay fungi and other pests. Once Jecta penetrates throughout the wood, it remains there, protecting the materials from invading pests.

The active ingredient in Jecta is the same as that in the liquid form of Bora-Care: a borate salt. Borate salts work by taking advantage of a unique feature in the biology of termites, ants and other pests. If ingested by target pests such as carpenter ants, beetles or termites, the pest becomes unable to extract nutrition from its food and starves to death. And because of this unique mode of action, insects cannot develop a resistance, ever.

Jecta can be injected through any wood surface coating and is designed for application to wood by injection into voids, checks, cracks or pre-drilled holes by a pest management professional.
