It seems to be relatively pure. Small amounts of discoloration but dissolves cleanly. Appears to react chemically as predicted. Perfect for stump removal. Time will tell if it's good as a fertilizer, but I don't doubt it would work.
Looks like some rocks are in the mix but other than that great product.

Very decent product,works wonders on the poor soil conditions where I live.
I have old oak tree stumps in my front yard that were from trees that were cut down several years ago. Even though the tree service did stump-grind them, they still had some visible stumps & extensive root systems that were impeding the growth of grass & evergreen hedges that I planted in place of the trees. I used the potassium nitrate to expedite the decomposition of these stumps. After just a few days, most of the old stumps are gone. This is a highly recommended product if you have old tree stumps that need removal w/o tearing up your yard having a tree service do them. The service from Seed World has been excellent. The only (minor) issue was with USPS delivery, which being that I also live in Florida took a little longer than expected (checking the tracking, for some reason my package ended up for a time in Jackson, Mississippi(!!) it may have been a mistake on USPS part as this was to be sent to Jacksonville, Florida). I would recommend Seed World to use UPS or FedEx. That being said I am quite pleased with Seed World customer-service and would happily be glad to offer repeat business! :)
